Perth: Day 1
Arrived in Perth around 5pm. Flight from Aukland was about 7 hours. Food was much better on this leg! And getting through customs was a breeze! Much faster than New Zealand. Caught an uber to the Airbnb. I was there about an hour or so after my flight landed. Bonus – airport is about 15 minutes away! Very pleased with the Airbnb! It’s so bright and the lanai is huge.
Walked over to the grocery store about 10 minutes away and stocked up on a few things. Came back and showered, ate a meat pastie that I bought at the grocery store-it was decent-and settled in for some Netflix and rest. Metallica was playing at the stadium across the river. I could actually hear which songs were playing! They sounded amazing. Glad I didn’t try to get tickets though. It would have been too exhausting. Off to bed as Sunday/day 2 is going to be a great adventure!
